Case study · Single franchise, Ireland

One Škoda dealer, built to outrun the groups.

Noel Deasy Cars has sold and serviced cars in Cork since 1980 and is the city's Škoda main dealer. Their Autonomy site gives one franchise the vehicle pages, media and buying tools usually kept for the largest groups.

The client

For Škoda in the City.

The brief was direct: build the best Škoda dealership website there is, for a single franchise that wants to look and sell like a far bigger business.

Noel Deasy Cars is a family-run business on New Mallow Road in Blackpool, Cork, established in 1980. It is the city's Škoda main dealer and an approved Volkswagen and Volkswagen Commercial service dealer, running the largest Škoda service centre in Munster, and it has collected Škoda sales, finance and aftersales awards along the way. Ray Deasy and his team wanted a clean, mobile-first site where every car is presented properly and a buyer can reserve, finance or trade in without a phone call.

What we built

Every car, presented like a flagship.

A deliberately plain, mobile-first Autonomy site with one job: get the buyer to the right car. Each vehicle page carries branded Phyron imagery and video, a written description generated from its spec, MotorCheck data and the tools to reserve or trade in.

A description for every car, written from its spec.

Every listing opens on branded Phyron imagery with video, a PDF and a gallery, then a description generated from the car's actual specification, the Škoda warranty, and MotorCheck technical data in the tabs below. Thin copy is never the reason a car waits.

  • Phyron imagery and video on every car
  • Descriptions generated from the spec
  • MotorCheck technical data

Reserve it from the sofa.

Reserve car takes a name and a number, then a fully refundable deposit by card through Stripe. Part Exchange values the buyer's own car from its registration, and Enquire now and the Codeweavers calculator sit on the same page.

  • Fully refundable deposit
  • Card and wallet payments through Stripe
  • Part exchange valued from the registration

The whole Škoda range, with a typical example on the page.

New cars get their own range page: filter by model, see the monthly figure for each, and read Škoda Financial Services' typical example on the same screen. Offers and new car pages are managed by the Noel Deasy team in the Autonomy admin.
