CodeWeavers and Autonomy.
What it does.
With CodeWeavers enabled, Autonomy requests finance quotes for vehicles in stock using the site's default term, deposit, mileage and credit rating. Each finance type returned is stored, and the lowest monthly payment is written to the vehicle so it shows on listings and vehicle pages. Quotes refresh on a schedule and can be refetched on demand when the dealer changes rates. Vehicle identification for quotes uses the CAP ID where the site has one.
On the vehicle page the CodeWeavers calculator lets the customer change term, deposit and mileage and switch between PCP and HP, with the dealer's FCA details and disclaimer alongside. An "apply for finance" journey goes to CodeWeavers. New-car finance examples on offer pages can also come from CodeWeavers. Where CodeWeavers needs the site's stock, Autonomy exports vehicles to it on a schedule.
What flows where.
| Data | Direction | How often |
|---|---|---|
| Finance quotes per vehicle (HP, PCP, CS, LP) | CodeWeavers to Autonomy | Every 4 hours, plus on demand; quotes kept up to a week |
| Vehicle stock export (identity, price, status, spec, main image, dealership) | Autonomy to CodeWeavers | Twice daily, 00:00 and 12:00, when export is enabled; a vehicle is resent after a week |
| Calculator quotes on the vehicle page (customer changes term, deposit, mileage) | Both | Real time in the customer's browser |
| Finance application | Autonomy to CodeWeavers | On submission |
Provider precedence on the platform is CodeWeavers, then iVendi, then Evolution Funding, then Santander, then the built-in calculator. Quotes are cached for up to a week, so a rate change shows after the dealer triggers a refetch in the dashboard or on the next scheduled run.
What the dealer sees.
Monthly prices on search results, the CodeWeavers calculator and finance examples on vehicle pages, "apply for finance" buttons, and new-car finance examples on offer pages. In the dashboard, each vehicle's finance tab shows the stored quotes and the finance settings page has a "trigger refetching quotes" control.
Setup and ownership.
mtc. configures CodeWeavers under Automotive, Finance in the Autonomy dashboard, with the site's default finance parameters, FCA number and disclaimer, and enables the front-end calculator. CodeWeavers then reviews the site on a development link and gives the go-ahead before launch.
